Does anyone here remember Moto-ski? My friend had a 1980 Futura 500 and it was a pretty nice machine.

Anyone else?

Heheh.. we have about 3 of them sitting in the bush in pieces. I don't remember much cause i was only about 4 when rode one.

In 1980 moto-ski was already owned by Bombardier.
I have a Moto-ski Grand-Prix 400F/A, 90Mph. Great Sled...at -15°C
Moto-Ski was a big competitor of Bombardier in Canada in the 60 & 70's.
Moto-ski used JLO and BSE motors. Lot of BSE looks like a Rotax.
Bombardier bought moto-ski late in 70's....1977 maybe 78.
A moto-ski Sonic is 100% the same sled RV of Bombardier.
Last moto-ski were at the begining of 1980.

Moto-Ski was bought out by Bombardier around 78 or so, although they were made by Ski Doo under the Moto-Ski name until 81 or 82. I had a '71 Capri 338 with a Hirth engine in it, and a friend has a '78 Mirage II with a Rotax 340 in it. Not too bad of a sled.
