track size

have a 98 skidoo mxz 583 was wondering if some one new off hand what size track it is and how many studds is good for it

go to studboy traction and they provide specs for your sled.

1998 Ski Doo Application Chart Perfomance / Aggressive

number of studs are dependent on riding style. more agressive riding, more studs. less agressive (trail riding), the less studs. use their appliaction chart for your ideal set up.

if you add studs, you'll need new carbides on your skis to ofset the added "push" from the studs. these are also indicated in the charts.
