hey im thinking about buying a new 08 mxz 550x and giving my 2007 550x to my dad. did anyone here about the new 550s? is there any difference in the 07 to the 08?

Well I am not sure but I don't think any major changes occured. It is still in the original REV platform. If you are looking to buy new anyways, why not jump up to the new REV XP. The TNT (old 500SS) sounds like a real sleeper this year at only 399lbs dry!!!
