If stock was best then nobody would modify anything but since your sled is a fan I don't know of any company that makes a pipe but you con do a google search and see what you can find.

I have seen more fan cooled sleds blow up than liquid so I would stay away from modind the moter too much and would concentrate on getting the clutching dialed in, that should give you your best bang for your buck.

You will get more of a performance boost by doing clutching and gearing mods than you will get from a pipe. Also, putting on a pipe makes the operating temp. range a lot narrower.

check this link out:

Howstuffworks "Search"

basically its the relationship between the two clutches that allows power to be transferred differently to allow for optimum performance.

clutching is more of a black art. sure anyone can buy a clutch kit and put it on...but few can refine and modify the clutches for perfection.

But it is well worth the effort to learn. When you get it right, no-one will be giving you grief about your sled. Especially when you can prove that the rest of the sled is totally stock and you have whomped the modded sleds.
