just bought a 1997 formula sl

i just bought a 1997 formula sl and i got a killer deal so i couldnt resist even though its fan and there not exactly speed machines i was just wondering if anyone has modded one of these with any sucess and what you reccomend i do to give it a little more go

yea i was deffinetly gonna go the clutch kit route i didnt wanna drop a tooth on the gear because the sled lacks top speed to begin with

so you bought it? how much? i got a lot of work this summer, my cat needs a total overhaul, especially the rear skid, too many jumps this year i guess, i need a new seat, and possibly rebuild the motor... id say for your sl, clutch it, studs, and reeds if they have/make them for that sled. not much of a market for them but they do have a lot of stuff to make it look cool.

hows the mx coming your gonna have to send me some pics with that graphics kit and stuff thats pretty cool yea i got the sled from my uncle for pretty much nothing but it needs a rebuild just like the plus i should be and expert soon lol
