Start Sled Without Key...

I have a 94 Skidoo Formula. I just broke off the key in the ignition and am looking for a way to start it. I believe I should be able to just pull the plug from the back of the ignition and fire it up. But, I am looking for some confirmation before I pull my back out trying to start it! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming this is your sled, and not stolen or anything...

If the keys is broke off in the ignition - just turn it to "on" with a screwdriver.

Actually, it's my wife's sled. And, she was pretty ticked off at me since I broke the key. Anyway, I was able to get it started, so I'm now in the clear...THX.

Same thing on my Indy 440. I used the key to open up a bottle of fuel de-icer, poured it in closed up the cap. Then I asked myself "WTF, where did I put the key"? So I just had to pull out the wires off the ignition. I was kinda scared for a bit.....lol

they really should have titles. i still dont know if i bought a stolen sled. lol i did pick it up at the gusy house and got a bill of sale but i think for the amount of money for sleds a better system should be inplace. i should start a title/insurance company for sleds.
