Basically what do you all think of the '04 GSX 550SS

? speed, comfort, durability, ect? Any opinions/recomindations are helpful.

My friend has a 550 fan, surprisingly quick sled, it'll do 80 no problem. Very good for the money.

Is the 550 fan a relatively new engine design? I like the fan sleds and was thinking of the mxz or gsx as my next one. Sorry if hijacked.

you highjacking SOB.... jk, I've seen an 05 gsx fan so they are kinda new i would say.

550 fans have been out since '03. It's just a modified 500 fan, which has been out since the 70's.
