I think you will definitly get him off the line and then I think he will catch up and maybe pass you.

you should spank him. I have an 01 MXZ 700 and I have no problem walking over my buddie's 2000 SX-R 700 triple Yamaha. Both these sleds are stock. The 670ho is supposed to be pretty comparable to my 700 from what I understand.

As long as the 670 is in good condition it will win. Those 670HO's are beasts.

I don't think you will have any problem no matter what the distance of the race. The vmax and later sx-r 700's were kinda slow. Seems like they really need the triple pipes like the srx's had to wake them up. The 670 is a runner.

I think your 670 will blow him off no probs as long as your sled does not break down in the race
could not resist

i'm a yamaha guy but i think the mxz will win there as it is built for speed and the yammi weighs more( being a triple)

brought the ol girl home and took her off the trailer and ran it across the yard, got half way across and she shut off . but i could tell by the way it shut off it wasnt eletrical, so i pumped the plunger and she would stay runnin. then i fifgured i would go back to the shed n get a light. as i walked back i realized when i turn the gas on i turned the gas off by accident. lol went back turned the gas on and a way i went lol stupid mistake but glad she is runnin all good
ready to ride this weekend!!! and race my buddy, n by the sounds of it woop him.

well boys come to find out my buddys sled has reeds jetted and exhaust. well i went ridin w/ him up his cabin lined up out on a lake took off , spanked him off the start and in the long run by about 3-4 sleds. so we raced again cuz he said he got a bad start so we went again and we took off and we were neck and neck til about 110 mph and then he started to slowly pass me and then he was only a half a sled length ahead off me. so my opinion is i think my sled did reall well for be stock and goin up against a 700 triple with mods.
