Question Need More Power on my MXZ600

Good day boys, i own a 200 MXZ600 that has an after market silencer, U.F.O's in the carbs, V-Forcce 3 and a great clutch kit, i dont want to put tune pies on it for trail riding reasons but im seaching for more power, any suggestion! I have also put a new 1.25 ripsaw track on it, making it easier to get the power down

with the mods already done to it you are probably better off to just trade it in on a bigger CC sled. If you start doing much more to that sled you are going to run into reliability problems. Besides how much power are you looking for? I imagine that sled with those mods should hang with most sleds out there.

You could consider some light trail porting. Just have someone who knowns what there doing clean up the intake and exhaust ports. You don't have to go extreme to get some improved performance, yet it will still be good on the trails.

If you aren't too concerned about losing a few mph's on top speed, you reduce the top gear a tooth or two, that'll get you to the top faster.

I agree with what some of the others say. Just get a larger CC sled or drop an Arctic Cat engine in it.

I'd think twice before dropping an arctic cat motor in it. They have a tendency to get oil caps stuck in the drive belt. Buy a larger cc sled!

No doubt a larger CC sled will do the trick, but for $$$. for dimes you can do a little porting and gear changes.

As far as reliablity, I've had these similar mods on my sled for two years, I drive hard and have had no problems. I put on about 2000 km a year.

don't waste your time with an Arctic Crap transplant. thats the most foolish thing i have heard.
cat is the king of agriculture type quality fit and finish. that would only drag down the quality engineering/fit and finish you get when you buy a bombardier.
plus fitting a arctic crap pipe in the doo chassis?? don't go there.

why go to the trouble of porting/blue printing the motor? why not just put pipes on it? Is it a noise factor?

Ah-ah-ahh!! That almost sounds like brand bashing!! Besides, I think Locky was merely joking!!

I mostly agree with buying a bigger sled. There is no replacement for displacement is what they always say.

cant put pipes on it cause here in Quebec A.K.A. Russia we are not allowed any mods to exhaust system. no tolerance, as for more displacement im looking at an 800 but i like my 600 that surprises alot of people
