We lined up my 97 670 next to a 1999 ZL 600 EFI and a 1998 XCR 700 Triple. The 700 and I smoked the 600 and I was 3 sleds ahead of the 700 by 100 mph. the curve in the trail me me slow down, so I don't know what top end is yet

So these will hit 100 mph pretty quick? I just want to be as fast as my buddys Yamaha 700SX.Think I am picking it up tonight. How much does the MXZ weigh? I know its probably no ZR in the weight dept, how do the jump? Suspension close to a ZR or not quite?

502 pounds dry weight for the mxz, '98 ZR600 504 pounds dry weight. The 670's are very quick. You will have no problem taking a Yammi 700.

Picked it up and it does run good, the only complaint I have with it is the pressure it takes to push the throttle. I am going to have the biggest thumb in town!! Other than that It is a great sled.

My 583 is a real pain to push in compared to the 670. Is there any way to loosen it up anyone?

Join a thumb wrestling league , Congrats and enjoy! BTW, let me know how it goes when you line up with the 700 Yammi.

It is faster than the Yamaha by a few sled lengths and I weigh 35 more pounds than the Yami rider.I was able to hit 100 mph(indicated) in a very short distance,it would go a little more but I was running out of straight away and always wanted to make sure it was slowed down in plenty of time for the 90 degree turn.

I have a 99 summit x 670 paid 1500 has 1700 mi, perfect, screaming awesome sled, great motor. the 99 summit I have is the ho and according to the dyno has more horse than the 700 If it is the HO 670 the peak hp is 126.8 I don't know much about the mxz but that motor is about the best. If the sled is perfect it may be worth 2000, but you have to figure out what it would be worth to you. Book value on sleds is deceptive because they lose so fast because they take so much abuse even if you only trail ride, so you are best off to check it out and if it is clean and has true miles, I am sure you would get your money out of it in years of riding.

1999 ski doo 670 H.O. For sale

I have a 1999 Ski doo MXZ 670 HO for sale now with 4500 miles. 1400 of those miles being placed on it in 7 days in the U.P. three weeks ago, from Rudyard Mi, to Copper Harbour and back, runs super and is fast.i ran across the big bay lake against a polaris Iq, 2- Rx-1 Yamahas, a 600 Ho Rev, and 700 mxz and a 800 mxz and i launched hard on all of the above sleds and the only two that caught me before 85 mph were the 1000 Yamahas. so id say this sled runs out pretty good. bone stock no mods. i sold my Mach 1 700 Triple and have no regrets of this 670 at all. short track kinds beats up on ya but otherwise bullet proof 110 plus mph sled no problems. its for sale but it will take $2300.00 to buy it or ill turn it into a long track and keep it for next year.. and it does need one wheel on the track on rear inside. ill replace it if it sells before its picked up. A-1 condition not a scratch on it . or ding ,never wrecked or rolled. email me for pics if interested. im rode out for the year and wanna buy a Mach Z 1000renegade for next year. BTW anyone hear of the mach z 1000 having engine trouble both my neighbors had 2006 scatter motors this year.???? just 4000.00 to replace motors. That suxcks when a $12,000 dollar sled blows apart and destroys crank, rods, pistons, i mean junked these motors. anyhow the one 2006 mach z 1000 renegade is like new for sale without motor for $3500.00 in like new condition otherwise.Blck in color its actually sitting at Extreme powersports near Chicago if anyones interested in it. or hed possibly be interested in a used motor as well either way he loved the power of the sled....Thanks fellas
