Mine, with a few mods, hehe, keeps with the 800s to 1000 feet with just clutching. It doesnt keep with my buddy yamaha with all bender setup too well. But only by 8mph and 30 more hp.

What year? Mines been great, only thing I don't like is the gas, and rear suspension. Try to find one with a sc10 rear skid.

I got one, so far motor has been real strong. They are a heavy sled though. If you plan on getting stuck, don't ride alone.

only thing with the motor was the PTO bearing failures because of a lack of oil. there is a mod for it, but you have to take the motor apart, if it has lasted this long, its most likely ok. just run a good synthetic oil and your good to go.

I have ditched my 95 storm for a 96 FIII and love it. 30 over Wiseco pistons, V-force 3 reeds, carbs jetted, stock pipe and Dyno Port silencers, EP clutch kit. I am very impressed I think it is quicker in the trail than my storm and I have always been a polaris fan but this doo is changin my mind. Canuck is right the rear suspension isnt much but I was told it is not to hard to convert to an sc10.

If you couple the rear suspension on those they ride much much better.
