What is this for? It appears to have an orange/brown colored oil in it, with heavy duty hoses (3/8 inch roughly, with wire winding inside the rubber/plastic of the hose), and goes to the rotax intake on the engine. Jug holds maybe 500-750 ml of fluid. Sled is an 85 Formula MX 467 liq. It's definately not part of the oil injection or coolant end of things.

i think thats your oil for the rotary valve if i remember correctly.

Yup, that keeps the rotary valve oiled. It doesn't use any, so you should never have to fill it.
