Possible Stator problem?

Just had a engine rebuild on my 99 summitt 600. Engine works great ...lots of power and sounds good.

Heres the problem...

Recently crusing around on a trail at about 70-75k/m an hour , when all of a sudden the engine shuts down and lights go off immediatly. Check the sled over and everything looked fine. Started up with no problem and went on my way again. 20 minutes later the same thing happened again. Checked the machine over once again, started up and went home.

Anybody encouter this problem before? Engine seems to be working great, and the D.E.S.S tether cord is on securely.
I don't know much about sleds but it sounds electrical to me.

Any suggestions?

Get an inline spark tester for it. When it stalls, immediately check if it has spark or not. It could be a fuel problem. Make sure your tank vent isn't blocked somehow.
