first of all what ski's do you have? if you have the old steel skis they will steer harder than a newer set of plastic skis. the things you can do are to tighten the center shock spring. loosen your limiter straps.

There are also grease fittings you need to lube also.

plastic skis

sorry guys ya i got the plastic skis, and ill try to do those adjustments. i did all the greasing prior to going out after i bought the sled. hos does a guy add carbite rodes to help get a better edge, with these plastic skis? i looked and when the bolts are conected to the skis does not appear to have any room for them, it slids more than grips when turning,,,

you can add carbide runners, but you'll increase the steering effort, something does not sound right in the set-up if you have too much steering effort and still push in the corners. everything to correct hard steering effort gives you less pressure on the skis and more of a push. sounds like you need to find a good sled guy to help you thru your set-up and go over your sled a bit to see if anything is wrong.

Usually, if a sled is pushing in the corners, that means there is notenough down pressure on the skis. You can adjust this by either taking a little up on the limiter strap at the front of the skid or by letting a little tension off the front spring, or by dropping the rear mounting bolt of the skid into the lower hole (if there is one).
