Rebuilt engine break-in

I'm currently in the process of re-building a 99 summitt 600 engine, and I have a couple of questions.

1: What is the recommended engine break-in procedure for my sled?

2: Should I add oil to my fuel even though its already oil injected? ( So the engine won't be running as hot)

Thanks

FF

Treat it like a brand new engine. mix in tank 100:1 with oil injection.
mix 30:1 without oil injection.

i always add oil to the first tank on a top end rebuild. i go 50-1 tho, may be more oil, but never had an issue.

Straight from Doo!

"A break in period of 10 operating hours or 500km (300miles) is required before running the snowmobile at full throttle.

During break-in period, maximum throttle should not exceed 3/4. However, brief full acceleration and speed variations contribute to a good break in."

Mix the first tank 100:1, keep the speed varying, and don't go wide open until the rings break in!

Once the first tank is gone with the oil mixture in it, should I just fill up the tank with straight gas?
Also, I'm using bombardier mineral oil for break-in, and was wondering how long should I use this oil? (500km?).
I've been told that once the engine is broken in it would be a good idea to use synthetic oil.

Thanks

Synthetic oil is cleaner to use. Fill it with straight gas after the first tank. Run the mineral oil almost out, then fill it with synthetic.
