1996 Formula 583 problems

Well i want to buy my friends cousin's formula but it wont start. It has been sitting for a year and the idiot didnt drain all the fluids and such. So my friend drained everything and it still wont fire. New plugs. Any ideas? Oh and what kind of performance am i going to expect if i buy it? Thanks

I have one so I know how fun they are to pull on. Try pulling the small hose off the primmer pump where it goes into the carbs. Make sure your getting gas to there. You should hear and feel some resistance once gas is getting pumped into the carb. Dont pump much more than one squirt or you could flood it. If thats not it check for spark. They are a b**tch to start but once there warmed up they run really well.
