90 Safari - No spark

Well I am getting the sleds into riding shape after a couple of years without running. I have cleaned out the fuel system and put in new plugs but I dont think I am getting spark. I pulled the plug and put the wire on it and when I tried to start it there was no spark. I have never owned a sled before so what would I do to diagnose the problem? Thanks a bunch guys and sorry for the many noob questions still to come!

Get an inline spark tester from an auto parts store, they are MUCH more accurate. Then unplug the key/kill/tether switches to eliminate them as a possible problem. If you still have no spark, then it can be either the coil or CDI.
