Angry 1995 SkiDoo Formula Z 583 Rotax

Does a 1995 SkiDoo Formula Z 583 Rotax have EFI or carbs? Also are they twin cilenders or single and what about the pipes?
what kind of suspension does it have? Is there anywhere that i can get a new windsheild for it? it is a F-2000 chassis. Do i rally need a skid plate? I have been riding since i was like 2 and never had any trouble with hitting anything. How long do pistons usually stay at opeak performance for? Also how often should the engine be cleaned and a new gasket kit put in? How fast will it go and about how many hp will it put out?i have owned this sled for 3 years and i bought it from my step dad. I am a 14 yr old and i am just learning some of this stuff so any information about these sleds will be a great help. thnx. Also what size r the idle wheels? Also can u guyz give me some good snowmobile websites for skidoo parts? What is a hifax by the way?

Holy questions cowlamb!

It has two cylinders and uses carbs for fuel delivery.

Pistons last a while, it's the rings that wear out.

Rough HP guess would be about 90, top speed around 85-90 mph.

hifax is another name for the sliders, or those plastic thingies that the track slides on.

your driving this thing around at 105 mph and you don't have the slightest clue about the machine? Seems a little hairy to me and a little unrealistick that you've had it for 3 years. Why ask how fast if you know...

i think the 583s are around 110-115hp.

my uncles vmax 600 dyno'd at 105, i pull him by about 3 sled lengths.

nope, bone stock and in great shape. like i said i have never lost a race against him and my sled is heavier. i do have to say that his suspension is much nicer though. dyno'd at the crank.

my sled is a bastard child and i think somehow this twisted pile of assorted parts actually works out in my favor.
the chassis is a 1994 mach 1 670 with the original secondary clutching and gearing(changed spring position and clickers a little). the guy i bought the sled from was retarded and bored it .020 over and put stock pistons in it, had to punch it .060 over to get them round after that, that puts the displacement a touch over 600. had to mill the heads a bit. 96 worn out studs. mine has 44mm carbs, i'm pretty sure the z's had them stock not 40's(only the formy's and stx's had 40's. 7800 is the max rpm.

hey i might be getting a 1996 ski doo formula ss 670. these sleds got many prob.s with the engine at all? it has 3000 miles on it and the guy only wants like 1600 for it but i can get him down to like 1200 i think. also the only thing on it tht needs to be replaced is the seat and it needs a windsheild
