Hey everyone..

Any opinions here on SPX vs. Kimpex shocks? I need to get a rear and centre shock for my Formula SL and I'm sort of torn. The Kimpex are cheaper, but the local sled shop around here says they are garbage.

I haven't seen Kimpex xhocks hold up too well. The shafts start rusting within 2 years on them. I'd get the best you can afford.

Yeah, Kimpex are garbage. I put the gold series on my Formula Z and they didn't even last a season. The weld actually broke apart where the shock attaches to the tunnel. Luckily I wasn't going very fast.
