93 mach 1

Was talking to a guy today at the local sled shop about my 93 mach 1...asking him the stuff I have to do to set it up to ride in the big horns this year...he told me the 670 rotax motor had trouble with the piston/wristpin bearing or somthing like that?....he claimed the 670 is a ticking time bomb...anybody heard of this?

The 670 is a bulletproof engine. It's a 583 with a different top end. I've never heard of issues with it at all.

Jackson's high dollar I've been riding South Pass/Louis Lake. I think Pinedale or Dubois are a little easier on the pocket book. I'm going to try and ride the continetal divide up to Jackson this year though starting at Louis Lake. The girlfriend is working out of Wright so I might be headed to Newcastle and riding the Black Hills this year. My 92 Mach 1 w/670 is a sweet smooth runner w/no problems so far.

10 000K on my 670HO and she still pulls my shoulders apart. Only problem I've had was a broken RAVE valve.
