Studding a 2000 MXZ 500

Hi Guys,

I'm going to stud my MXZ 500 this week, I have never done this. I have all of the stuff to do it but I have one question, do I need to remove the track to stud it? I'm going to install 96 studs up the middle. It looks like I can leave it on. Thanks

You can leave it on and it will be fine.

Make sure you put in the bigger tunnel protectors also. Need to pull the flap off the back.

if you go to studboy's website, they provide you with a good list of things to buy if your not already equipped. for example, stud pattern template, track hole cutter, sharpening tools, ect. granted you dont "need" these things, but they do help make it easier.

Studboy Traction Accessories

also, you dont need the tunnel protectors if you've got a fan, or if your heat exchangers are under your foot wells.
