Value of 2002 MXZX 800 with 800 miles?

I am in the market to buy and came across this sled for the stated price. previous single owner, 820 miles on it and the owner was a cleaning nazi (it is perfect top to bottom, end to end.)

Is $3800 too much for this sled? I have a day or two to decide.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

BTW this will be my first sled ever (ive got plenty of time on sleds, never owned before - always rented )

Welcome to the forums!

3800 is a pretty good price considering it's almost a brand new sled with only 820 miles on it. Make sure to check it over very well and check the compression. If everything checks out, than it should be one hell of a deal

Check to see if it had any piston or crank problems. I believe they had a recall on that year.

Thanks for the scoop, i think this guy is trying to pull somethin anyway...acting funny about the entire deal, i walked away from it - i hope my instincts are true...then again i wouldn't go through with the deal knowing that my stomach told me otherwise.

I found a better deal it appears on a 98 Mach z low miles very cheap - might be the one for me (plus saved a lot of money)

Good luck! Those 98 mach's are also very nice sleds too. A lot of power behind them!
