I've got a 99' mxz 670, great power and a bulletproof motor. It's quite the hog on gas but other than that I don't have a single complaint about the sled. She'll be happy with it. Keep it maintained and that motor will go for ever!

Yup, 670's are absolutely bulletproof. You'll have a ball with it!

Rotary valve engines are the best thing since sliced bread.

Doo should have continued with them on the REV platform!

Take off the plastic covers, then remove the 2 allenhead bolts that hold the RAVE case to the engine cylinder. Then you can slide the whole assembly out and clean the valves. They only go in the engine one way, so remember how they came out. The tip of the valve is beveled. Also check the rubber bellows for cracks or tears and replace it if necessary. You'll probably have to buy the gasket that goes between the RAVE case and the cylinder.

The ARM suspension has 2 big shocks side by side in the back. I'd grease the entire suspension syystem and check all theidlers for good bearings, etc. Make sure the belt is OK and change out the chaincase oil for Klotz synthetic. Then you'll be ready to go!

Amen brotha! Reeds are great but I love the rotary!

Cleaning the Rave's is easy, I rode around for 2 months before I realised I had a broken rave valve. They say "TOP" right on them so it's pretty hard to put them in upside down!

my buddy had the 98 670. The arm/ arc suspensions was just about as soft as it comes and smoothes thrails out nice. A little heavy though. But runs the trails good.
