I think they changed the E-raves for '07. Go to dootalk.com and go to forums, Mach Z. There are a TON of threads on the new 'Z's there.

Unfortunately I think the only big difference for 2007 is the HPG Clicker take-aparts and some new red paint. Other than that, it's as good as an 06'!

there are some cpu calibrations that are in the 07 program that are new. teh 05's are the fastest though once you learn to get into the computer like I did then its not hard to make them really fly. any mods on yours yet? I have tried pretty much everything so I may be able to help you.

I dunno, I have over 1500 posts over there(mainly in the mach section) and have had NO issues. I made some good friends and gained(and shared) some info. I think the big thing is if you ask for help, dont bash the guy giving advice(not being specific to anyone, but it happens) AND many guys (including myself) have spent MANY hours and sometime LOTS of money to find gains in the 05-06 machs. for this reason I dont just throw it out there for all to know I worked too hard on mine to just give up all my secrets...............but I will help a guy get in the right direction or tell him what will NOT work to save you some of the headaches I had.
Fred

I like Dootalk. Nice group over there, they just don't like the "which sled is faster" questions.

Hello,
You sound like ya have a lot of experience with the mach z. Im 14 years old and a girl, and my dad and I love sleds and racing. We got the 06' mach z, and havn't done anything to it yet. What could you tell me about whats best for it. Were thinking about a Turbo....what do you think? What have you done to your sled and whats the top speed?

You're a 14 year old girl
I don't mean to be a negative nancy here, but that is way too much sled for you to drive by yourself!

well I do agree that its ALOT of sled for a 14 yr old girl LOL. so far I have tried about 8 clutch setups and found a couple really good ones. mine is more in the 1000ft crowd so top end is not what I have been after. the turbos are not the way to go. some have good luck with nitrous oxide though. mine has the bikeman pipemod, cudney domes, plugged decompression ports, clutching, gears(that was alot of work), 1.75 track,MM billet wheels and some more odds and ends. the real power came from the ECU. I and a few others spent hours and hours hacking it. there is a timing setting that is optimum for this machine. the 05 map IS the most aggressive.( you cannot put the 05 map into a newer machine ) I had mine remapped to teh 06 setup and it slowed down( I learned how to get around that too now) I know a setting that your dealer would have to put into the sled using the BUDS system that took me a whole year to figure out 1000ft at a time. I have went now from 101-104 in 1000 on snow to 119 120. I have not had it on grass yet but it should rock. now to go on a diet

start with clutching. lots ofgood kits out there. cudneys is good I run one of chris bondis now. chuck hamarah has a good lake kit I am going to try. if you wanna go cheap and just get it working decent you could add some 19.5 g pins and set the clickers to 2. that will get you going too.
