521 Exhaust

If you remove the silencer / aftermuffler will it hurt the engine due to reduced backpressure?

Do the higher performance exhaust require rejetting the carb?

If you remove the muffler, you'll burn the exhaust side of the piston. Some performance exhaust require rejetting, some don't.

The 521 stock exhaust will work for my application but I would not be able to use the removeable silencer. I can Only use the main pipe. So that will burn the piston right? I had better look for a different exhaust hadn't I ?
I want to make sure I get this right
Thanks again.

The main part that comes out of the motor is the most important. If you can find a different silencer, go for it.
