Hi Guys!
I have a Formula Z 583. It has oil in the crank case. I am thinking the inside crank seals may be bad so I have a couple questions for you…
Is it okay to run like this?
How do I get the oil out of my crankcase?
Should I delete the oil injection and just mix the oil?
It’s a fairly nice machine. How would I go about changing those inner crank seals?

Thanks
Brad

When a 2 stroke engine cools down and sits, the gas evaporates and the oil is left behind.
Running the engine will clear it after a bit.

The oil injection system is very reliable and makes trail riding for long distances fun and possible since you will not have to carry a can for mixing.

The inner seals rarely fail and require the use of a press to change out.
The crank is pressed apart and back together and must be indexed when this is done.

The only way to tell if the inside seals are bad is to have a leak down test done.
