I picked up a 92 Mach 1 for $600.00 off e-bay. (SEG it's just a Mach 1 not the X like it's decaled) Went to Ft. Collins and picked it up. I got it home cleaned the tank, carbs, greased and lubed it and gave it a general checking over. It is a clean original low milage sled with 2000 miles on it. I was told it was jetted for 10,000'. I noticed they were running 7's in it so I figured it was probably a little rich was the reason for the hotter plug. I put 9's in it, grabbed some fatter jets and took it up to Louis Lake (8500' to 9500')and opened it up (wow) hit the kill switch and the plugs were a nice light brown. After riding for a day I felt a vibration and thought the belt was slipping a little. I was going to change the belt at the cabin the next morn but with 8" of fresh snow I decided to wait until I got home. We rode 1/2 the day and headed home. I pulled the belt and it was glazed. I grabbed the new one of the guard and it was a 48" JD belt while mine is a 44". It would have went on easy. I guess I didn't check it over as well as I should have. I got a new belt and put it on. We went up the 11th, 12th and 13th and got 1' of new snow and broke trails. It looks like I'm addicted like the rest of you now. I just hope there is still some snow left in 28 days. I will post the pics as soon as my girlfriend e-mails them to me, assuming she can download them off the camera.Happy Sledding Mike
