Broke trailing arm Bracket

i was out riding the other day and broke the trailing arm on my 99 mxz 600 it tore out the bushing out of the sled i was wondering if it can be welded or do i need to remove the whole bracket to repair it .

was wondering as well can you ride wirh a broken trailing arm or will it hurt the sled?

No, you can't ride with a broken trailing arm, it'll tear the rest of that side out of the sled...Did it rip the bolt out of the tunnel, or did just the arm break?

it ripped the bolt out of the tunnel and bent the arm it broke where the sleve goes over the bolt i got it back in somewhat dont know if it will hold or not how much pressure does it take and not sure what the trailing arm function is my first skidoo sled.
had a artic cat but got rid of it keept blowing pistions.

The trailing arm provides horizontal support for the suspension. It prevents the suspension from getting ripped off from forces pushing back on the skis. In order for us to help we're going to need a very detailed description of what heppend or even better a picture!

sorry for the rambling, i hit a colvert doing 50 mph the left side of the sled hit and riped it out here are some pics i reinserted the bushing as shown

trying to send a picture but i cant seam to get it small enough to get it through, if you know how to drop the size of it to send it let me know please

Definitely replace the trailing arm. Then get the mount welded. If not, you're going to do some real damage to the suspension.
