OK,I found the answer to my question on the Flex-skis(Ski-doo).
Anyone have an opinion on the new Pilot skis?I take it they're the single runner type?How do they campare to the Flex-ski if anyone knows?

From what I hear the pilots are great. They are dual runner like the precisions only instead of one on each side they ride on a center one like a normal ski, and they have an outside runner so when you go into a turn the camber of the ski changes and both runners on the outside ski are now touching the ground.

the pilots are fine, we are just wondering what the outside carbide does, i mean if it really helps at all, i havent had a chance to bolt them on my sled yet, but my friend has and he said they turn fine. just dont see the poit of spending the money on pilots and have to get an extra carbide all the time.....
