my freinds boss is giving him a sled he found. he said he thinks it's a 1990-1993 580. we were rying to figure out what it could be. Does anyone have any ideas? either way for free how bad can it be.

They made a grand touring 580 which is what I'm going to guess that it is. They also made a 583.

Thanks I know they had a 583 because I have one. Maybe he meant 583.

i think he meant 583. It could be a formula plus if it's a 92 or 93.

It could still be a 580 from the years you said. Doesn't he know??? It should say right on the hood!

There is a tag on the engine right next to the recoil that states the engine type.

Do you have the entire sled? or just the engine? If you have the chassis, check the serial # on the right hand side of the tunnel. On a Doo, you would be able to tell the year, model, etc.
