Unhappy 05 rev chassis.... reverse not working

I washed the mud off my wife's 05 skidoo 380F, and when I started it to put it on the trailer the reverse would not work. Any Help....

Check your cable linkage. You might have to adjust the tention on it. This happened to my wifes sled. I tightened the cable, and all's well.

what exactly did the sled do? if it just dies there may be a compression problem, motor shutting down when changing into reverse is the first sign.

My wife was havin' the same problem out on the trails.Water didn't factor in in that situation.Just wouldn't go into reverse(RER).It was intermitent, though.Sometimes it'd kick in then not.I'm still amazed it works at all.Somethin' so simple and the weight savings over mech reverse.Sorry I couldn't solve your problem.Just don't feel alone.

check and see if it is fused and a fuse blown, check all your wires and connections. i think i remember a guy with a similar problem who took his sled in a warm dry environment and it started working when the sled dried out, in which case i would think it would be a wiring issue also
