Sled was running good yesterday tried starting it today won't go checked compression 90 in both cylinders why would it happen with no symptoms ran fine when I parked it was pretty cold out -25 over night and was reving a little high yesterday when I would stop could it be a head gasket?
Tested at wot correct. If you lost a ring that quick bet would be u have scoring. Chances of both ring is slim tho unless u ran without oil. Have u checked the crown and skirts yet?
It was getting oil i know for sure bottom end is good and no I haven't opened it up yet I am today and I'll let you know I plan on doing top end rebuild hopefully I won't have to bore the cylinders
Ok took it apart today needs rings had about 45 thou of a gap so no scoring in the cylinders just gonna hone them out put new piston and rings in should be good
Nope 2 strokes need wot. I've nuked 3 single ring 800s by 3k miles. Built several with duals and no issues at 3500 Great compression I just don't risk skirts any higher.
I put in dual ring pro x Pistons rings where finished on both had about 4500 of Gap and cylinders where good no scoring and Pistons where good but thought I'd replace them since it was apart and honed the cylinders but sleds running good now but only put on little over 100 kms so far
