Sleds
I'm looking for a new sled. I currently own a 98' XC600 That i use. (we have other sleds too). Im looking to probably get another brand new. I like the rev's and all but there so expensive. Im thinking maybe the new fusion 600 H.O.
Anyone have some sugestions? I don't want a yamaha. There a P.O.S. (piece of sh!t)

The Fusion 600 is gonna be AROUND the same cost as a REV 600 (if your talking new). Take a look at the REV 500SS (this sled is really a small block 600, but cheaper then the REV 600H.O.)
Also, go easy on the Yamaha guys in here. They have some really cool new rides this new. Your entitled to your opinion, but that was a little harsh my man.

I am a ski-doo guy, I would go with the rev.
Ps. any how I am a ski-doo guy I WOULD buy a new yamaha, they are really pretty nice sleds. The new apex is really fast, and yamahas are reliable sleds. So don't bash yamahas.

I just bought a new Fusion 600 and I love it, have 200 miles on it so far this year. I have never drove a rev but I think you would be happy with either one. I got my Fusion for around 7200 + tax. I do know that the Fusion is supposed to be the fastest 600 this year. Let me tell you, this thing gets up to speed quick and the suspension is really comfortable. If you go to the Polaris website, they have an article about a recent race in Minnesota I think where all the manufacturers were there and in the stock and slightly moded races the 600 Fusion walked away with it. Let me know if you want any more info on the Fusion, but choosing a rev would not be a bad choice either. Heard lots of good things about them too.

I like the MXZ's. I was actually looking at one before I bought my Fusion. I think they are great sleds and I have read a lot of great reviews about them. My neighbor has a 2001 or 2002 ski doo and he has never had a problem with it. Just saying that he should check out all his options and find what he likes best. If you are going to buy one, you might as well buy the one you like the most. That is pretty much why I bought my Fusion. I liked what it had to offer.

Mainly because i had nothing but problems with my yamaha's and i have heard nothing real great about them. I read that thing about the fusions. I think i might pick one of them up. And the 2005 MXZ "X" is like $8600 a bit more then the Fusion. I'm still deciding though. Thanks for your thoughts and keep them coming.

I'll sell you my 2005 MXZ-X for $6500.00. I decided I've had it with winter sucking so badly.

yeah, we are a long way apart! I had the head ported, polished and shaved. Had some Boyesen Reeds installed (the midrange on this sled is insane!!). Also this fall I had the front and rear shocks rebuilt. You think $6500 is steep?? I only have 1200 miles on it. Im also tossing in my cover, couple sets of plugs, 4 gallons of Synthetic oil and a spare belt. A new MXZ-X is around $8500-$8600. Mine is in like new condition. Ive only ridden 50 miles this year. No snow.

Are the Pro-X, Pro-x2, or pro-xr models good? They look like they should be but just seeing if someone knows first hand.
