Did i make the right choice?????

I was seeing some people asking about the rev. they say you cant jump them at all. the shock's brake, the spikes go right up threw the heat exchange the shocks are week.
afater my research the gsx 800 seemed like the best sled for me. i wanted a fun fast sled with elec start reverse, and all the bells and wistles. but i wanted to be able to take my girl from time to time so i got the 1+1
so far im very happy with the sled, but should i think about doing somthing to it? i mean im going to jump it and stuff. im not looking for a jumping sled. but is mine good all around? and is it just peoples opionons or is this facts?
Thanks.

Mostly what you'll get here is people's not-so-unbiased opinions. Many will cite an instance where they heard from a friend's cousin who had an uncle whose brother broke a shock after he jumped off the Empire State Building (an exaggeration, but you get my drift!). The only thing you can do is to talk to the dealer & other owners to get FIRST-HAND experience!!

well, some of these people where owners. i think they where looking more towards the older sleds, but the new rev is suposed to be much better.
im happy so far, but i guess i will have to kill it and see how she holds up.

If YOUR HAPPY with the sled and nothing has happened to it (as far as break downs etc.) why would you want to "kill it" just to prove that the sled is reliable?? Your GSX is a fine machine, save yourself the aggration, time and money by not risking breaking down and killing it.

I've had my MXZ for 2 seasons, it's taken everything i've thrown at it (except a snowbank!) and i've never had a single problem with it. Except those damn bearing covers for the bogies are 8 bucks a piece!!!!

The bogies are the idle wheels at the back, the one's that are just along for the ride and support the track. The bearing caps in the center can fall out every once and a while and their 8 fricken bucks !!!
