overheating

I am doing this for a bud of mine that isn't into the cyber thing. We need to think out of the box on this one.

His 2002 MXZ 800 overheats with no consistency, just happens. He has had it to the dealer and they have replaced the thermostat and the sending unit for the guage and I think a head gasket.Still doing it.

I'm thinking that he may have a flow issue, maybe a blockage, maybe the pump is cavitating.

Has any one run into an issue such as this? Thanks Ron

Is he using any coolant at all? They did the head gasket, but I had that problem on my wife's Mach z and it was the BASE gasket.....
