How deep can these go???

What kind of depth can you ride on the rev's?
12"-18" with no issues?
i know my buddy has an older ski doo mach-z, and it is just about dead in 8-10" its fast, but seems to not do so good in deep snow.
hoping mine will be better

Are you talking about your GSX? My MXZ floats pretty well for a 121" track, it's also really easy to manouver. Just DON'T stop or you're screwed.

sorry, the rev i was thinking would be pretty close, but i forgot about the summit ect.
i have the gsx 800. when you say alright, do you mean 8" it will be alright, or 12-14 alright? guess it depends on the base, and the type of snow. im pretty new to this stuff. only ridden like 10 times, maybe 200 miles total, only have 50 miles on mine, no snow around yet

Yeah it really depends on the snow and the base. It's not really made for powder riding so don't expect it to perform. It shouldn't have a problem in a foot of powder, as long as you keep your butt moving.

my 500 indy goes through a foot of powder pretty good, starting and stopping, so a newer sled with more power should go through it fine.

snow depth

I was riding my formula z in 8 to 12 inches it seemed to ride up good but if i stoped or went to take off fast it spun down and hooked up on the ground I have no studs but with studs it will definatly hook up once you spin down. Also found lighter front suspension settings allowed skis to ride up hitting less bumps ect
only problem was I ate a far bit of snow and my hood screens let the belt get wet and start squacking a bit. Snow is way more fun when drifted in and it hardens up only problem is when your stuck your stuck bad

so i should try to keep the front skies light so they float? wouldnt that keep the fr

I just found that in deep snow with no real base I was hitting bottom alot and so therefore lighter ski pressure lets the skis ride softer saving carbides from rocks. But I would crank them back up on packed trail for stability and steering made no real difference as far as how much snow was thrown around I was in really deep fluffy stuff. You will have to try it and adjust from there to see what works for your conditions.

12" should be no problem if you know what your doing.

What does your LS1 run in the 1/4?

cool, i hope it does. not sure i know what im doing tho. lol
i have been riding quads for 15 years, and jet ski's for more then that, so im guessing i will be ok.
M|y car went 9.40 @ 143 with a stock cube motor 346 ci

im building a 402 this winter, lossing about 200 pounds and adding about 200 more worth of the spray, i should be 800-1000 rwhp and 3200 pounds so mid 8's im hoping for, then maybe light the wick a little more.
