bellow
i just put a new bellow on my rave valve that was leaking. wow. it doesnt bog, and seems to have better and crisper response. i guess it is worth the $25 i had to pay for the little rubber boot, im so much happier it seems more powerful.
i also got one of the o-rings, but im not sure where it goes, and im pretty sure i have to remove the casing to install it...ill keep it till i need it i guess.

Yup, the O-ring goes around the RAVE shaft when you take the casing off.

yeah i thought so. ill just keep it, and see if it still leaks, then i might have to put it in.
also, the cover doesnt seem to seal right. the chaincase side one has no play and doesnt move, whereas the clutch sided one moves maybe 1/4 inch and doesnt sit all the way on the base, theres about 1/16 inch it kinda doesnt sit right. the clamp is in the right spot, so whats the deal?

is the cap screwed in too much? is the bellow on correctly?

the bellow is on correctly...and the cap has a spring clamp, it looks on ok

Maybe the little wire that holds the cap on is bent.Swap caps and see if it moves to the other side.
