|I want it because its a small gain, its a weight savings, and i dont have to jet anything. (|i think?)|

i also like the way they sound.
they sound sweet with pipe, but im not looking to be the loudest, i just want people to know im coming.
and it looks nice.

i cant find anyone with them in stock!!!

what can i do that i dont have to change jets?? I know a few people that bought parts they needed to jet, they are suposed to change jets with weather, and to me, thats a pain!!
thanks guys.

You wont have to rejet so long as you are EFI, carbs will require rejetting with a pipe, but not a can.

However I am unsure how the new SDI works, but if you dont have carbs then you obviously dont have to rejet

If i were you i would get a pipe/can combo.. Weight saving and power gain.. A can can actually decrease power without the pipe in one area, but gains it in another.

its not injected. but im told the new gsx has all the knock sensors ect, and an enrichment thing to adjust for altitude ect, and i do not need to rejet with a can.
i was also told, the pipe/can combo was a power loss on stock bore sleds.

maybe i should leave it be. lol

You wont lose any hp. as for a can losing hp, why would a company put 1000s of hour of testing just to make a product that does less. people run around alway saying this....well lets see the dyno sheets.

i don't have dyno sheets, but i have seen/ heard about them done, and all silencers do is make the sled louder, and just like i always tell those rice burner drivers, noise does not equal power or speed.

Just got my MBRP's in for my 700 Cleanfire and my wife"s 600H.O. Put them on last night and they sound great. Not loud at normal riding, but can be heard when you pin it. Get the largest one they make for your sled. They make a 4, 5 & 6 inch. Stay away from the 4 inch, they are to loud. I weighted the stock can at 24lbs. MBRP can at 5lbs. and added 3 hps.
