Picking up a '96 Formula S (compression)

So yeah, I'm heading tomorrow to buy a used 1996 Formula S (380 fan), and I want to thouroughly check it out buying leaving with it, and I will be checking the compression on it. So what should the compression be?

Also, anything else I should check, and/or general comments on that sled?

TIA!

Also make sure both cylinders are pretty close to each other compression wise.

Yeah they usually say all cylinders should be within 10%. Compression is usually a great bargaining tool, especially if one cylinder is low, but not to low (like 108). The old "Oh oh, it needs rings" usually helps ya draw em down a bit.

Ok, well, I just came back from my holiday traveling (during which the sled was picked up).

Compression was 123 and 125. Generally, the sled was VERY clean, only has 4000 miles on it. For 1400$ CAD, I think it's a pretty damn good deal. Can't wait to go on a ride tomorrow!
