97' mach 1, any issues?
Well after my dads polaris blew up, he wants to go ski doo I found a 97' mach 1 with a set of jaws pipes, a decent track and one ok track (maybe get a season outta the ok one). I know to check for things such as cracks in the frame, and any other avvidents, but is there anything models specific I should look for? I'm gonna do a compression test, and to be honest I'm a little leary because a young guy owns it, and has done some performace stuff too it. Thanks guys.

my dad polaris blew up so he wants to go SKI-DOO.... wtf? why? so he can blow it up 3 times instead of once? a polaris is a million times more reliable than a SKI-DOO.

It's ALL in how you use and maintain them....Probably wasn't treated well to begin with. The Doos are a reliable sled, you'll have no worries.

well if you dont ride it hard, your wasting your time, but a doo can't stand up to as much as polaris or cats can.

Here we go.......I've driven everything, owned Doo and Cat. They are all the same as far as reliability, unless you ABUSE them..Sounds like you do....
