86 safari 377, disabling oil injection

I was wondering if anyone has disabled the oil injection and just mixed the gas themselves. for me it's not a big deal, it's just an around the neighborhood sled for the kids. I noticed that it looks like the oil injects into what i think is the cylinder itself with a seperate feed for each side.

any pro's or con's or opinions?

how did u do it for anyone who has?

thanks,
bill warren

It won't hurt it to premix. Just let the tank run out. and mix it for good.

I had a 377 in an 80 MotoSki (same as SkiDoo). I simply removed the pump, tank, lines & disconnected the cable. The 2 injector lines went to 2 very small nipples (he said nipples!! heh, heh) on the underside of the intake manifold. Just use 1 piece of hose & connect those two nipples together, so they don't suck air. Premix at 50:1 & you should be OK
