help with new skis

Hi,

I would like to replace the skis that are original on my '97 grand touring 500. I just took a large chunk out of one of them as it is still early season riding in British Columbia.

Can anyone suggest a good replacement model for this sled, I would like to increase the floatation performance in deep snow. Are there any models that will help this heavy beast float better and fit that year.

Thanks,

MH

well,

if you can suggest a few types of skis I can try to find them used. so sky's the limit in that regards. Otherwise around $200.

ive used simmons flexi skis on a 2001 xc 600 and the difference was like night and day.good floatation and less feedback in the bars from the stutter bumps, exspensive but you get what you pay for.good luck.
