I think you would walk him off the line, he would most likely eventually catch up if you plan on doing a fairly long race.

yeah i agree.

of course, throw in the reliability factor of the polaris, and you have him beat before someone even says go! j/k...

I think it would be a pretty good race.

for once, yeah probably. i noticed at shows, AC guys wear all green. doo people show our colors, but we dont go all out. yamaha supporters will have some stuff too. but polaris people seem to stay in the corner with their heads down waiting for the day theyll have something to brag about j/k....

but seriously, youll take him off the line and prbably most of the race. across a lake, he has you.

hmm.. lets see... sled #1 a 440 SKI-DOO, sled #2 a 500 polaris... 500-440+a 60cc difference, plus the 500 being a polaris, and the 440 being a SKI-DOO, id say, the polaris would KICK YOUR ASS!

Whats that got to do with it? My 700 WILL hands down smoke my wifes 800. Bet that 440 gives that popo a run for its money. On a long stretch the 500 might pass the 440 but from corner to corner that 500 isnt gona see anything but taillight.

...look what i started ...

the 440 is a modified race sled, the 500 stock. my formula deluxe 500 just bored out keeps up with and if i get a good start (which i do) can beat a 600. i just have it bored out and the clutch engages a bit high.

so if i can make 100 cc's dissappear like that, 60 cc will be nothing with the more work he's done to his. even if he just has the lc and not race edition, he still has him. across a lake (top speed), no he loses.
