I've used Klotz for years. $35 per gallon, comprable to OEM prices, but better oil.

Isn't the HP injecter oil 100% synthetic? I run that and seem to have really good luck with keeping top ends in tact. I have never blown a sled up in over 10 years. Maybee good maintinance and luck, but I think some credit must go to the oil?

All Amsoil is synthetic...HP is good for most engines, but use Interceptor with power valves; Dominator for racing.

I just switched my 06 Fusion over to Amsoil Interceptor and I am very happy with the results. Much better smell and less smoke than the VESII. Reasonably Priced too.

Ipone Synthetic. I noticed Blair Morgan and all the guys on his team have been using it. I tried some 2 years ago and have not looked at anything else. Costs about $30-35 per gallon, low smoke, no nasty smell, no gummed up powervalves. Kimpex.com sells it, and many sled shops can get it for you also.

No, I believe the Ipone smell it has is very unique to say the least, smells sweeter. They market is as smelling like strawberries, but I can't put my finger on that, similar...maybe. At the end of a long day of riding all I cab say is my pants and jacket don't stink. If I am in a pack of guys riding, say 5 or so, they all know that Ipone smell. I actually have a couple buddies that are going to switch over. I have never gotten a headache also.

ya i think that stuff does smell like strwberry's and it gave me a headahce after the first hour, kind of ignored it though then started feeling dizzy... i then parked the bike and decided not to use the oil again after the rest of that tank. i use castrol snowmobile injection oil in my sled though, but the best stuff for it, honestly would be the manufacture's own oil, i baby my bike like crazy and now i will not run anything other than honda oil in it, and if my sled was worth as much as my bike id only run the polaris oil but its just to expensive for a sled like mine.

Running strictly Amsoil HP here, wont touch anything else. Using conventional for break in though, just something thats gotta be done.
