test run!

today i went for my first ride outside of my field with my sled, i just got back and im soaking and exhausted. it was fun. the suspension was better than i thought it was, but for some reason i got stuck 5 TIMES! the steering is a little heavy and i think it could turn better. going over bumps/jumps was great. never stalled out on me, and the only problems i had were from the route i took to my buddys house. we messed around up at the fields at school, theres maybe 8+inches of fluff, it was a good time.

You mentioned you got stuck 5 times. How is the condition of the track/lugs?? You also mentioned the steering is "heavy". You may have to much ski pressure up front. You'll have to play around with the front springs. Your owners manual has detailed info on that.

That is what got me thinking about his track condition and the front ski pressure. You wouldn't think 8in. would get anybody stuck.

well where i got stuck was on the side of ditches where it was plowed, it was up to my knees or higher, but on the fields and such it was about 8 inches. my track is actually in great shape. its just its mostly fluff, and theres no hard-pack on the bottom yet, conditions should be much better in a week or so. should i turn up or turn down my shocks? by that i mean put it all the way to the first notch, or the last, highest notch?

OK cool, glad your track is in good shape! To lessen front ski pressure ypur going to want to crank the settings UP a few notches. That should help the tough steering and give you a little more "bite" in the back.

ok, so i go to the tech school for the second half of the day. on the bus (we usually drive but we were too cheap to pay for gas this week) someone said this little 10th grader was wearing lipstick. so the next day i ask him if he actually was. and apparently thats sexual harassment. theres nothing else to the story. the school systems here totally lick nutz.
