2000 XC600 exhaust compatibility

I have a 2000 xc600 with a huge rusted out hole in the exhaust pipe. What years/models have the same exhaust?

your sled is not an edge. i would like to go out on a limb here and say the 800 one wont work. i would just try to find one from your same engine size and as close to the same year. i dont know for sure what years fit and what mufflers will work with that motor but maybe someone else does...?

Re: 2000 XC600 exhaust compatibility

One quick question does it have the variable exhaust valves. If it does it is a small block an you can use a pipe from a 01 to 05 600. If it doesn't have exhaust valves it is a big block 600 and you can use a pipe off of a 600 from i think 97 ish to 99 along with a 600 from 00 with the same engine.

so you need to find one from the same body style, same engine size, and one that came of another sled with VES. Show us a pic, I believe the edges were the ones with VES and genII was nonVES. before the edge and genII was the evolved, and before that was agressive, and before that was wedge, which is what my sled in my profile pic is.

Browse

Find your sled, go to the exhaust section. On the left window where the part numbers are, scroll that window to the left. You will see a "usage" tab that shows which sleds used that exact part number.

Thanks dan, that is pretty cool. Oddly, the Y-pipe and Silencer both show they are used in other year/makes but the pipe itself says my sled only. I sure hope that is wrong.
