will this work for an air filter for a 1991 indy 650. ive heard that a good piece of foam will work.

I would buy aftermarket air filters and remove the airbox before I used a piece of foam for an airfilter.

it would block too much air. the design of the stock filter does not make air go through the foam, but it redirects it through a 90 degree angle trapping dirt. if you can fabricate it like the original design do it, or buy a filter

i got it looking like the origonal one but ill problbly buy a new one for next year. i think my riding season is over this year. we just got another snow but i broke something. not sure what thought have to tare it apart sometime when i get a chance. its also missing on a cylinder and im pretty sure it needs a rebuild so i will be busy this summer

pre air box filters are like 15, just buy one and don't worry about it.

where do i find the filters? i have looked every where and can not find one. i need the one between the hood and air box and i need the one that goes in the air box
