As some of you may know I totaled our 06 fusion 700 a long ways back, and the motor was all that survived. I found an 05 fusion 900 with only 2500 mikes on it that needs a motor for a grand. What all would I need too change too do the motor swap? I am pretty sure on everything except the computer and injectors. My 700 had yellow injectors, and this 900 had the blue ones. So will I need too buy a computer off a 700 with yellow injectors for my motor too work? Or can I use the injectors and computer off the 900 or what are my options? Thanks in advance guys!

Good questions - I would assume that everything should fit right in BUT .. would the 900 pipe work with the 700 motor? Im not sure if the Polaris dealers would know the answers about the yellow / blue injectors and the whole deal. You may have to see if you can call the POLARIS headquarters to find more deeper answers. Maybe not - let us know what you find out - good luck. WL

Turns out the 06 motors had four injectors rather then the two that came on the 05 motors, so you have too do modifications too the steering stem, and other parts to make them fit, and change other things such as the oil bottle etc.. And it is really a very big project.

That IS a big project .. prolly not worth the time and money to do it. Best bet is to find the exact motor for that sled and less u would have to monkering to make it work and get it to run. Like BC stated .. I gotta agree with that statement. WL

I'll just keep looking for an 06 too put it in! And yep, there always is something that's gotta complicate everything!
