Coil Test

How do you test a coil? I am guessing it is an resistance spec... The coils I want to test are on a 95 XLT. It produces spark but am wondering if it is stong enough. It is a dark blue spark but want to test the coil to make sure it is up to spec

Sounds like a weak spark/ bad coil/mag
