Sagging Extra 10.... Help Please!

My '97 Indy 500 has a sagging rear suspension. I have pulled the skid, greased everything up, and reinstalled it making sure nothing is binding. After all that, it still drops about 2" on it's own, and another 6" with me on it and I way 215 lbs. I have the adjuster blocks on the tallest setting also. Is this normal or are my springs weak? Is there a larger set of springs I should look for to help with this problem?

Check the springs for breaks. Also your shocks may need rebuild.

X2 on springs. They may be weak. I do think they make a heavyweight springs. Shocks may need to be rebuilt but they are suposed to control movement not to suport weight.

I recommend that you elevate your machine during summer storage to get the weight of the suspension. I use a stand I built out of 4x4's under the bulkhead and a stand under the rear bumper.
Stock spring on the Indy 500: 7041462-067 SPRING,RH,TORS(.421DIA) (.421) Std.
7041461-067 SPRING,LH,TORS(.421DIA) (421) Std.
Springs offered on the SKS model: 7041464-067 SPRING,RH,TORS(.406DIA) (.406)
7041463-067 SPRING,LH,TORS(.406DIA) (.406)
7041466-067 SPRING,RH,TORS(.437/77) (.437)
7041465-067 SPRING,LH,TORS(.437/77) (.437)
It appears from looking at the Polaris website that almost all models with the Xtra 10 used the same springs.

Steep deep, thanks for all of the specs. I do usually have my sleds completely elevated on stands, but I think the previous owner never took that advice. As for the shocks, they are new ride fx units, but who's to say they are correct as they were installed prior to my purchase of the sled. Thanks for the help all!
